It looked like a shampoo bottle that was from the 80s, all white, with a very interesting green running logo and most importantly to the story, it contained..."The Original Epsom-It formula." The brand started with only the Epsom-It Muscle Recovery Lotion.
On very frustrating days at work Heather likes to look at the original, Epsom-It Muscle Recovery Lotion white bottle on her desk and remind herself how far the brand has come. Fun fact too...almost all the growth has been through Covid times. It's been two and a half years, but we're going to pat ourselves on the back, thank our army of interns, marketing folks, chemist, and more to celebrate and finally share this growth story with our customers.
The ugly white bottle was the original Epsom-It Muscle Recovery Lotion bottle, and in 2020 the team expanded the product line to launch Epsom-It Nerve Pain in the new 8 oz. blue bottle. It was the time of miss-matched bottles, and shortly after the team designed and launched the full suite of products, including the rollerballs. There were many design meetings, testing and sending of bottles, rollerballs, around the country to everyone on the team. The copy on the label almost always had some funny moments about "drug-free versus natural" and by the end of 2021 the team had completed its complete brand redesign, launched its three rollerballs, and FINALLY but its muscle recovery and nerve pain relief products in the same new bottle. Took a few years, and a mishap with the wrong cap selection, but we're now very happy to share and enjoy all the different iterations of the brand's growth!
